HK Hike: Quarry Bay to Shek O Rd. via Mt. Parker and the Dragons Back Trail (Oct. 7, 2012)

Took No. 116 bus from Cross Harbour Tunnel to the Sunway Gardens stop on King's Road, Quarry Bay.  Start hike at the foot of Mount Parker Road, near Quarry Bay MTR station.
Hike to top of Mt. Parker and then down to HK Trail, Section 6.
[Time from Sunway Gardens stop to top of Mt. Parker was 57 minutes.]
Left HK Trail to head further east to Boa Vista and then Tai Tam Gap.
Then rejoined HK Trail Section 8 to hike the Dragons Back Trail south to Shek O Road (where Sect. 8 meets Sect. 7).  Ended there and took the No. 9 bus and then No. 14 bus to Stanley.
Total hiking time was 3 hrs. 20 min. (no stops, except for taking photos).

It has been 15 years since I last hiked the Dragons Back and it still a great trail.  A good day for photos too!
